Facilities for events and hourly rental pricing

On this page you will find photographs and descriptions of available campus spaces, and rates for renting those spaces.  All spaces are located near each other on our campus in Newton Centre, MA. In addition to the rental fee for an event, we charge a $200 janitorial fee PER event.

Wilson ChapelBuilt in 2007, the award-winning Wilson Chapel is the newest building on the campus. It provides a flexible, state-of-the-art space ideal for weddings, memorials, bar and bat mitzvahs, worship services, concerts, rehearsals, conferences, lectures, and films.  It has a built-in sound and A/V system.

The building is fully accessible and air conditioned. In addition to the main chapel space, there is a lovely foyer which is perfect for cocktails and small hors d’oeuvre parties.  a space on the lower level can serve as either a classroom or a "ready room" for speakers and brides. No food is allowed in the main chapel space.

The maximum capacity of the chapel space is 180. Its dimensions are 34 feet by 54 feet, for a total of 1836 square feet.

Rental Fee: $250/hour; $300/hour includes the ready room on lower level.

The Meeting HouseThe Meetinghouse was built in 1876 as the school gymnasium. The building is accessible with an accessible bathroom, with wooden floors and Palladian windows. The space measures 24 feet by 55 feet, for a total of 1320 square feet. The versatile space can be used for parties, worship services, dancing, and all types of classes. It can seat up to 75 people depending on the setup. Air conditioners are installed for all summer events.

Rental Fee: $150/hour


Noyes House

The Noyes Conference Center is a large open space with Palladian windows, high ceilings, hardwood floors, wooden wainscotting, and a raised stage. The main space measures 67 by 39 feet and the raised stage is 25 feet long by 13 feet deep. Noyes Hall is a versatile space for large sit-down receptions of 150 or less, conferences, large workshops, worship services, bar and bat mitzvahs, weddings, concert rehearsals/performances, and theatrical productions. The space is fully accessible and air conditioned. The space has no built-in sound or A/V system, but the school has appropriate equipment available for rental. 

Rental Fee: $250/hour

Peck Room

Located in Worcester Hall, the Peck Conference Room is a modern, carpeted airy space with floor-to-ceiling windows, an attached kitchen, private bathroom, piano, and working fireplace. It is elevator-accessible from the ground floor of Worcester Hall.

This space is ideal for small parties, dinners, meetings, and small workshops. Maximum capacity is 75 people, in its 1200 square feet.

Rental Fee: $100/hour

Stoddard Hall

Stoddard Hall is a large, high-ceilinged, traditional style auditorium with 182 fixed theater-style seats with raked rows and a stage. Stoddard is ideal for lectures, films, concerts, worship services, and conferences. It has a total of 7886 square feet, and the stage dimensions are 31 feet by 10 feet. It has a sound system, but no built-in A/V system.  

Rental Fee: $100/hour


Davis Hall

Davis Hall is the main classroom building with nine classrooms on three floors, connected by stairs.

All have recently been renovated with new carpeting and moveable seating. Classrooms 101, 201 and 301 seat a maximum of 50 people. The movable chairs have small attached worktables.

Davis 101, 201, and 301 are smart classrooms containing projection DVD, CD, VHS, and online capabilities. Classrooms 102, 103, 202, 203, 302, 303 hold a maximum of 30 people.

Rental Fee: Smart classroom $75/hour; Standard classroom $60/hour

The Berkeley HallThe Berkeley Room is an ideal space for meetings, gatherings, formal dinners, small conferences, and workshops. Somewhat formal but welcoming, with a fireplace and carpeting, it is furnished in traditional New England style, with couches and comfortable chairs. Located between Kendall and Fuller Halls, it holds a maximum of 40 people, in its 1134 square feet.

Rental Fee: $100/hour



All rental space is subject to a $200 janitorial fee per event.

We charge additional fees to use the in-house  audio visual and  sound systems. Call or email Sondra Traister for more information.
