Worship Come to Life

with Professor Don Saliers
June 25 -28, 2006

Don Saliers is William R. Cannon Distinguished Professor of Theology
and Worship at Candler School of Theology, and is director of Emory
University's Master of Sacred Music program. His publications include A
Song to Sing, a Life to Live (2004), coauthored with Emily Saliers of
the Indigo Girls; Worship Come To Its Senses (1996); Worship As
Theology (1994); Worship and Spirituality (1984); and, Soul in
Paraphrase: Prayer and Religious Affections (1980, 1991). He is
currently working on issues of liturgy and culture.

The format offers a blend of worship and morning keynote lectures by
Don Saliers, followed by afternoon plenary workshops and evening
events, all focused on renewing the vitality and beauty of worship.

Orchestra) - Creative Use of Jazz and Music in Worship


Sunday afternoon, June 25 through Wednesday June 28.
