Tu B'Shvat celebration Organic Lunch - Monday, February 13
--------------------------------
The Hebrew College Rabbinical School and the Ecology Ministry at
Andover-Newton Theological School is happy to invite you to a
nourishing, eco-friendly, vegetarian lunch. This lunch is part of a 24
hour celebration of Tu B'Shvat, also known as the "birthday of the
trees." On this holiday we honor creation and increase ecological
awareness.

Green Speaker Series: "The Struggle Against Environmental Racism in
Boston" - Weds., Feb 15

The Ecology Ministry at ANTS presents the Green Speaker Series 2006

"The Struggle Against Environmental Racism in Boston"
presented by Alternatives for Community and Environment

Penn Loh, Director of Alternatives for Community and Environment (ACE),
will provide and overview of the severe racial and class disparities in
environmental conditions in Massachusetts, with a focus on Boston. He
will then present case studies of how communities have successfully
fought these inequities, including struggle to clean up dirty diesel
exhaust from MBTA buses and a youth campaign to clean up hazardous
waste site.

When: Wednesday, February 15th, 2006
from 12noon-1:00pm
Where: The Meeting House at ANTS
Light Lunch will be Served
$5.00 per person for those not on meal plan

Theological School presents "The Public Square On The Hill: Brief
Evening Presentations On The American Public and Its Problems." The
February 15 program will be "Economic Inequality and Poverty in the
U.S." by Prof. Benjamin Valentin. The brief presentations are open to
all and at no cost.

On Feb. 15 Rev. David Keller will be on campus to meet with any
students interested in this Associate Minister position. First
Congregational Church of Concord, N.H., U.C.C. seeks Associate Minister
for Community Outreach. This is part-time, with potential for
full-time.
