If you are looking for a way to practice Lent, plan to experience intentional prayer in a spiritual direction group this semester. Lent means "spring" which expresses the season in the church calendar that moves from the darkness of winter into the light of resurrection. A time of reflection in community awaits you.

For five weeks beginning on Tuesday, March 7 through April 4, from 6:30 to 8 p.m., ANTS is offering an opportunity to experience embodied prayer, embraced mystery, and emblazed action. Through movement, chant, music, lectio divina, mindfulness meditation, silence, and conversation, you will have opportunity to explore the place of service arising from the depths of soul and community.

The Spiritual Direction Group will be facilitated by the Rev. Dr. David B. Reynolds. Rev. Reynolds is a Pastoral Psychotherapist and Spiritual Director at Pastoral Counseling Services in Manchester, NH. An Ordained Minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), he has served 8 years in the parish and 17 years at PCS. After receiving spiritual direction for 9 years, he began offering this ministry 5 years ago, and is in a peer supervision group for spiritual directors in Concord, NH.

The Spiritual Direction Group will welcome up to 7 people and costs $90. Some scholarship money is available. To register or for more information contact Judy Medeiros in Worcester 105.

Student Association - Check Requests
Just a few quick reminders from the SA Leadership team regarding check requests (since the leadership has changed in a few organizations):

1) All check requests must be submitted to the SA Treasurer (Jeff Lukens). You can either place these in the SA Campus Mailbox (#3) OR underneath the door of the SA office in Sturtevant. (For your safety, do not hand pieces of paper to the SA President, she will more than likely loose them or forget to give them to Jeff).

2) We do not pay speaker fees or honorariums to full-time faculty or any student. This was discussed during several last semester.

3) If a recognized fellowship is conducting a Wed chapel this semester please contact either Jeff Lukens or Lella Baker ASAP.

4) Student Fellowship groups may conduct fundraisers and have the money rolled over to the next fiscal year for the fellowship's use.
fellowships last one!): Fellowship groups are responsible for completing their forms. The SA Exec members will not do so on a fellowship's behalf. If you have any questions regarding which form or how to fill out one of the requests, please e-mail Check request forms are found on Blackboard.

Please let us know if you have any questions!
