Journal Making Workshop - March 8, 15 and 22

The Faith, Health & Spirituality Visual Arts Ministry presents a three
session Journal Making Workshop on Wednesdays, March 8, 15, and 22,
6:15-7:45 in the lower studio of the Meetinghouse.

Week 1: Papermaking
Week 2: Paper marbleizing
Week3: Book binding

Your finished product will be a journal that is uniquely you in which
you can give voice to your soul in healing words and images. Cost for
materials $10. Class size is limited to 5 people. Pre-registration

"Sexual Abuse Recovery and God Image" - March 10, 2006

NORTHEAST REGION CLUSTER MEETINGS

The Rev. Dayl Hufford, D.Min., will present on the topic of how abuse
trauma affects God image. Dayl will draw from clinical, empirical, and
other literature to illustrate how the spiritual dimension is affected
by trauma and how developing a healthy God image may be crucial to the
healing process. She is Clinical Director at New England Pastoral
Institute in Salem, NH and Adjunct Professor at Andover Newton
Theological School in Newton Centre, MA. In addition to her clinical
work and teaching, she presents in her Institute's popular Safe Church
Seminar and is a much sought-after consultant on sexual abuse cases.

2 p.m. AAPC Roundtable for members, guests, and students; 3 p.m.

Non-Violence Workshop - Saturday, March 11
--------------------------------------------
Allie Perry is making this wonderful opportunity available to students,
staff and faculty outside the Non-violence Class with pre-registration.
The workshop will be held Saturday, March 11th from 9:30-3:30. Joanne
Sheehan will be training us in the practice of non-violence. This is a
perfect lead-in to Peace Week activities of which you will soon learn
more. You are asked to send an email to Allie (alli.perry@gmail.com or
aperry7247@aol.com ) if you wish to participate and to bring food for
lunch and some to share.
