"Come to My Window" Art Presentation: An Exploration of Theology,
Technology and the Arts - April 19
-----------------------------------------
"Come to My Window" is an artistic presentation by Duane W. Romberger
which explores the integration of theology, technology and the arts
through the medium of "digital collage." Digital collage is a sacred
practice where texturing, music, layering, stillness and the holy meet
for a dance across the various windows of a computer screen, television
or large screen.

The show begins with a reception (8:30 pm - 10:00 pm on Wednesday,
April 19th) and will run up to May 10th. Both the reception and the
ongoing show will be held in the Computer Lab (Davis Bldg.). For more
information visit http://www.ants.edu/media/artshow.swf (please be
patient as this Flash file loads. It should take about a minute or two
for cable and network users, considerably longer for dial-up users.
Your computer must also have a Flash Player installed in order to see
this file!)

"Getting Your Own House in Order: How and Why to Live an
Environmentally Sustainable Lifestyle"

Dan Ruben, President of the Green Decade in Newton, MA will discuss how
our lifestyle impacts the environment and our future. Special emphasis
will be devoted to global warming-how it is a threat to our economy and
well-being, and how we can reduce the greenhouse gas emissions resulting
from the way we live. Participants will learn how to improve their
impact on the environment, and which actions are not very important.
They will learn how to reduce their use of energy, water, garbage, and
toxins. Dan's presentation will also explore the role of theologians
in addressing the environmental threats that we face.

The Green Decade's programs are designed to build awareness, to provide
opportunities for public dialogue, and to educate and empower citizens
to take personal and civic action.
