Lecture: Dr. Karen Lebacqz - "Justice in Times of Disaster" -

The Jonathan Edwards lecture will be given Wednesday, April 5, in
Stoddard Hall at 5 p.m. The lecture, entitled "Justice in Times of
Disaster", will be delivered by the Rev. Dr. Karen Lebacqz, Robert
Gordon Sproul Professor of Theological Ethics, Emerita, at Pacific
School of Religion, and currently Bioethicist in Residence and Visiting
Professor of Religious Ethics at Yale University.

Dr. Lebacqz is an ordained minister in the United Church of Christ, and
has served on the faculty of the Graduate Theological Union for more
than thirty years. The author of more than eight books and numerous
articles, her interests encompass bioethics, professional ethics,
feminist theory, and theories of justice. Her permanent home is on the
north coast of California, where she does a lot of photography, and also
serves as a chaplain and on the Ethics Committee of Mendocino Coast
District Hospital.

Labyrinth Wellness Walks - April 25 and May 3

Are you stressed out by exams and papers? Are you feeling
disconnected? Do you have a place in your life that needs healing? Come
journey to wellness by walking the labyrinth. Even if you have never
walked a labyrinth before, we will be glad to get you started on this
healing path of prayer.

Howard Thurman Graffiti Boards
Howard Thurman graffiti boards have been placed in the entry way of
Davis. There is a Howard Thurman quote posed as a question on one of the
boards. We invite students to respond creatively. There are materials
provided. Take a minute or two and testify.

Stations of the Cross Labyrinth Walk - April 3-7, 2006
Come walk the Labyrinth and meditate with the terra cotta Stations of
the Cross which are part of the Taylor Art Collection. Upper Noyes,
Monday April 3 through Thursday April 6, 8am-10pm, Friday, April 7,
8am-4pm. Contact Judy Medeiros with questions.
