Yom Ha-shoah Holocaust Remembrance Event - Tuesday, April 17

Hebrew College, Room 102-103

Journeys on the Hill (JOTH) Interfaith Student Community invites you to a special Yom Ha-shoah Holocaust Remembrance Event:

Jewish Life in Poland Before the Holocaust with Rabbi Ben-Zion Gold.

In honor of Yom Ha-Shaoh, Holocaust Remembrance Day, Rabbi Ben-Zion Gold, former director of Harvard Hillel, will be reading from his newly published memoir, Jewish Life in Poland Before the Holocaust. In this elegant text, Rabbi Gold shares with the reader his experiences as a young religious person in the fascinating and often turbulent world of inter-war Poland. The book also contains Rabbi Gold's reflections on the Shoah and his liberation from the Nazi Germany. Please join us for this unique learning opportunity.

Due to professional commitments by Dana Moore, Yoga on Wednesday mornings will be cancelled for the rest of the semester. We will reconvene sessions in the fall. If you are interested in attending yoga please let Brita Gill-Austern know what the best times for you would be. We would like to find a time that is as convenient as possible for the most people.

The ANTS Community Choir - Wednesdays
Wednesdays, 11:50 - 12:15
In the Chapel
Join us for rehearsal from 11:50am to 12:15pm every Wednesday in the Chapel. All welcome! No singing experience necessary! Most Wednesdays, the song we learn and rehearse will also be the anthem in that day's Community Chapel (1pm in Colby). So come out and support community singing, and let a joyful noise resound from the Hill!

Weekly Peace Vigil on the Quad - Wednesdays
Join the weekly Peace Vigil on the quad every Wednesday at noon. This vigil will take place every Wednesday throughout the year as we take an hour of our time to stand in unity against various forms of injustice and violence in our world today. It's a great opportunity to commune with each other and get a chance to hear what the Peace Fellowship is up to if you're not able to make it to the meetings. Please feel free to bring scripture, poetry or a topic to discuss. Bring signs, songs and smiles.
