Part-time Summer Teaching Opportunity
------------------------------------------
Hello fellow Ants students,

My name is Waetie Kumahia, and I am a recruiter for Bell (Building
Educated Leaders for Life), a six week summer program that works to
inspire and challenge urban youth in grades K-6. We are currently hiring
Summer Enrichment Teachers and Assistant Teachers to work at our four,
train accessible, Boston locations.

The dates are July 9-August 17 and the teaching stipend is $3,500 for
enrichment teachers and $3000 for assistant teachers. Enrichment
teachers will design a course that would be coached or taught three
times, with your work day extending from 12:45pm to 4:15pm. Some of the
past enrichment courses have included: soccer, African dance, and
science experiment lab, but given your various experiences as youth
leaders, artists, and musicians, we are open to your areas of expertise.
Assistant teachers, on the other hand, work from 8:15- 4:15, and serve
as collaborators with the Enrichment teachers and the Academic teachers
(who work from 8:15- 12:15).

If you are interested in this opportunity work with children in our
city, but unsure of which role would be best for you, feel free to apply
and we will work with you to determine the best position given your
interests and talents. The application along with a description of our
programs are available at: www.bellnational.org.

In addition, please feel free to contact me if you have any questions
about the application process.

Thanks for your interest,
Waetie Kumahia
