Passing of Letty Russell
------------------------
Letty Russell, feminist theologian, died peacefully at home last night

(July 12, 2007) after a valiant and graceful struggle with cancer.

YOUTH PROJECT FOR WORLD AIDS DAY; 1 DEC 2007
------------------------
For those interested in a powerful art/witness experience, please
consider mobilizing your church's youth group to participate in this
project, in conjunction with the annual "Medicine Wheel Project" held
annually for the last seventeen years at the Cyclorama in Boston's South
End. This year, 20,000 youth and young people will carry water to the
Boston Center for the Arts, as a symbol of the annual rate of new
infections in this country alone. The project, directed by Michael
Dowling, is a powerful presentation of hope and lament around this
health crisis. For further information, contact him at:
michael.mw@verizon.net.
Kind thanks!

Mark Burrows, for the Program in Worship, Theology, and the Arts

Wanted: Movers and Shakers

No, we're not looking for politicians and social climbers, but people
who want to reach new spiritual heights through movement during chapel
services.

Anyone with any type or level of dance training or experience is
welcomed--along with anyone who has NO PREVIOUS TRAINING at all! Jesus'
example encourages us to meet people at their level, and we will work
with the gifts and skills that you bring. If you can wave your hands in
the air (and wave them like you just don't care), that's great!
Percussionists and other musicians are also sought.

Currently, we need people who want to present sacred movement during
the Fall Convocation, Wednesday, September 12th. For those living in and
around Boston, rehearsals will occur over the summer, so please respond
by July 15th.

New and returning students: if you will arrive on campus by September
7th, there still will be a place for you. Come and join us!

If you're interested or have questions, please contact Regina Boyd at
rboyd@ants.edu
or call 571-723-2652.

Looking for baby equipment to borrow

I have an au pair daughter from Holland arriving July 28th for 3 weeks
with three children, 18 months, 2 and half and 5. I am in need of two
car booster seats, one car seat for 18 month old, a high chair and a
crib. If you have any of the above that you could loan me for a few
weeks could you please let me know. I tried to rent this all and it
will cost a fortune. I leave for Zambia on July 9th, but you can email
me and I will pick up my emails at least once a week. Many thanks.
