Funeral for Nancy Stuart's mother
------------------------
Dear ANTS Community,

As many of you know, Nancy Stuart's mother, Ruth Hibbard, died last week after a brief illness. Her funeral will take place at Allin Congregational Church in Dedham, 683 High Street, Saturday at 11 a.m. Your presence and/or prayers will be much appreciated.

Our heart goes out to Nancy in this time of grieving.

Wanted: Movers and Shakers
------------------------
No, we're not looking for politicians and social climbers, but people who want to reach new spiritual heights through movement during chapel services.

Anyone with any type or level of dance training or experience is welcomed--along with anyone who has NO PREVIOUS TRAINING at all! Jesus' example encourages us to meet people at their level, and we will work with the gifts and skills that you bring. If you can wave your hands in the air (and wave them like you just don't care), that's great! Percussionists and other musicians are also sought.

Currently, we need people who want to present sacred movement during the Fall Convocation, Wednesday, September 12th. For those living in and around Boston, rehearsals will occur over the summer, so please respond by July 15th.

New and returning students: if you will arrive on campus by September 7th, there still will be a place for you. Come and join us!

If you're interested or have questions, please contact Regina Boyd at rboyd@ants.edu
or call 571-723-2652.

Help Design the New Student Lounge
------------------------
The Student Lounge is being moved out of Sturtevant Hall and into its new place by the beginning of September. If you are interested in helping to design the layout of the new Student Lounge, please email the Student Association, SA@ants.edu.

Get out of the heat in the Cafeteria!
---------------------------------
Hello, All,

Once again we are going to keep the cafeteria open until 10 pm week nights to offer you an air conditioned place to get out of the heat. Building and Grounds will lock the door at 10 pm. We hope this helps to make your summer a bit more comfortable.

Nancy

Collecting Musical instruments for Zambian orphans
------------------------
I leave for Zambia on July 11th, leading a delegation of 20 with another member of the Board of DIrectors of the NGO Communities without Borders . We will be working in community schools with AIDS orphans and hope to bring as many musical instruments as we can with us, particularly recorders and small instruments. If you have anything you can donate could you please leave with Jennifer Shaw. We will also be building a health clinic in Simukanka, a rural community in Zambia, to which some members of the ANTS staff and faculty have contributed. I am deeply grateful for your help in this project. Brita Gill-Austern
