SENIOR PASTOR POSITION AT HISTORIC CHURCH
The First Baptist Church of Boston is searching for a senior pastor
with a
minimum of a Masters of Divinity and Theology: several years of
experience to
lead a more mature congregation; and who can preach excellent sermons
in a
spiritual and intellectual style. The candidate must have superb
social skills
for our congreation and neighborhood . The church is a small
congreation
located in Boston's Back Bay and was founded in 1665.

The congregation is politically, theologically, racially diverse and

independent in thought. We are theologically moderate in the
intrepretations of the
scriptures; socially open minded; and wish to grow by integrating new
comers
with long time members. The church is known for its somewhat eccentric
and
colorful members and friends. The church prefers a more formal
service and
enjoys a variety of sacred music.

The congregation takes much interest in its history, church edifice,
and
being welcoming to all of God's children who share our views.
