Pastoral Residency Opening for 2007-2011
at Concord Baptist Church of Christ in Brooklyn
Are you or will you be a recent graduate looking for an opportunity to
learn*beyond the traditional "internship"*what it means to be a pastor
within the context of a loving congregation? Are you willing to think
critically about your vocation and want support to create healthy practices
that will sustain a long, fulfilling ministry? This Transition into Ministry
Program*extending throughout the two-year residency*now has a new program
element that includes an optional extension to remain formally engaged in
the life of the congregation for the purposes of focusing on ministry areas
where additional learning is needed/wanted. Application due date for the
class beginning July 2007 is February 28, 2007.
Full-time salary, benefits and housing provided.
