Temporary Internship during Pastor's Sabbatical

First Congregational Church of Dalton, UCC in Dalton, MA is seeking an enthusiastic individual for a temporary ministerial internship during the Pastor's upcoming Sabbatical leave..

The internship would run from June 1, 2007 to August 31, 2007 and would involve a full range of ministerial activities for our congregation. The internship would involve a commitment for two days during the week and Sundays. Duties would include sermons, pastoral visitation to local hospitals, and meeting with church committees. Service at funerals to be negotiated and officiating at weddings not required. Salary and housing negotiable. Lay leaders will be available to assist with portions of the worship and support will be provided by the Church Deacons.

Dalton, MA is located approximately 135 miles west of Newton and FCC is a thriving and growing church with approximately 300 active members. Come be in the Berkshires at the height of the concert and cultural season!
