Brandeis University Voices of Praise Choir Director

Brandeis University's Voices of Praise gospel choir is seeking a
director to begin at the end of August or early September 2007. The
position entails: one 1.5 hour rehearsal at Brandeis once a week;
performances during Brandeis Protestant chapel services once a month;

and occasional intercollegiate concerts. Ideal candidates would
demonstrate skill with piano accompaniment and a cappella conducting,

as well as comfort with selecting and arranging music, representing a

variety of gospel styles, working in an interfaith environment, and
preserving the fun and spirit of gospel music. Stipend to be
determined.
