We are seeking an outgoing, creative, organized person to help
integrate guests and new members into our growing urban liberal
religious community. If you like meeting new people, and have the
organizational and communication skills to maintain contact with many
people, discover their needs and abilities, and connect them with
others, this ten hour per week position will offer you a cooperative
venture within a community that matters.

Primary Responsibilities:
Work with others to collect information about members and visitors to
the church, and develop an accurate database of contact and
skill/interest information. Make active use of this information to
maintain connection with these new friends and church members so that
you can help them learn about our community and find a place here for
themselves and their families.

Skills Needed:
o Excellent ability to understand and communicate with people of
widely varying backgrounds. Good writing as well as verbal skills.
o Administrative and management skills that include the ability to
work independently as well as cooperatively. Strong delegating
instincts, patience, good humor, and a talent for training are helpful.
o Computer literacy: knowledge of Microsoft Word and demonstrated
database knowledge (or willingness to learn).

Salary/hours:
The position pays $18/hour for ten hours per week for 37 weeks
beginning in mid-September through the end of May. A total of $6660
paid bi-weekly. Actual allocation of hours is expected to vary through
the church year and will include some Sundays. There are no fringe
benefits. This position reports to the Minister and will be
periodically reviewed. We expect this to be part of a two year
undertaking with changing responsibilities as you are able to develop
