Assistant Minister, King\'s Chapel, Boston
King\'s Chapel, a Christian church affiliated with the UUA, seeks an
Assistant Minister who will also be able to serve as Acting Senior
Minister for five months (Jan. - May 2008). The Asst. Minister position
is part time (20-25 hours/week), the Acting Senior Minister is full
time.
A small historic church in downtown Boston, King\'s Chapel is Anglican
in liturgy, Christian Unitarian in theology, and congregational in
governance. King\'s Chapel follows the liturgical calendar and sermons
are usually based on the Scripture for the day.
King\'s Chapel seeks a liberal Christian who is an excellent preacher
comfortable with preaching from Scripture, who is energetic and
enthusiastic and comfortable with persons of all ages and points of
view.
The Asst. Minister will have responsibility for the midweek service,
for assistance to the minister, and with the Church School Director for
worship and pastoral care in the Church School.
