Spirituality Intern at Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT

Spirituality Intern at Wesleyan University, Middletown, CT

Convene the weekly "Vespers" Service.

Vespers is a unique Wesleyan tradition for students from any or no religion background to create a different ritual each week that addresses the immediate concerns in our lives and the world. A casual, relaxing, hands-on spiritual gathering with flowers for all and a vegetarian meal. Vespers meets on Wednesday at 5:30pm
The intern and student leaders will alternate leading the 30 minute service. The service is always varied but consists of: an opening reflection or meditation, a ritual often involving an art project, and a closing "check in" where students can share and reflect.
