JOB OPENINGS AT COOPERATIVE METROPOLITAN MINISTRIES (CMM)

CMM is a 40-year old interfaith social justice association of diverse
congregations and communities working to build social justice and
cross-cultural/interfaith understanding. Our membership includes 67
congregations in 18 cities and towns across the Greater Boston region.
Our program areas include: 1) One-on-One Congregational Partnerships, 2)
Community Meetings and Dialogues, 3) the Interfaith Youth Initiative
(IFYI)
and 4) the Partners for Justice Advocacy Network (please see

PROGRAM AND OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR for Cooperative Metropolitan Ministries
(CMM)

CMM seeks a skilled and able half-time administrator to help manage
our office operations and provide significant program support. The
Program and Office Administrator will:

-help develop and implement congregational and community outreach
efforts; work with graphic designer to design public relations
materials; work with committees to design and organize major public
events

-maintain office calendar and schedule meetings, plan and oversee
mailings, provide administrative support to Executive Director and
Development and Advocacy staff, supervise volunteers, welcome
visitors, respond to inquiries, order supplies, maintain databases,
and maintain office equipment

-help write and/or circulate monthly E-newsletter, Newsletter, grants,
press releases, event flyers

Hours: 20 hours a week. Qualifications: strong organizational skills
and computer skills (Word, Excel, database, networking); attention to
detail; ability to manage multiple responsibilities; experience with
and ability to effectively communicate with diverse constituencies.
Helpful: a passion for service, social justice, and building
cross-cultural
and interfaith understanding. Salary: $18/hr, flexible

PROGRAM ADMINISTRATOR for CMM's INTERFAITH YOUTH INITIATIVE (IFYI)

Working with the Executive Director of CMM, help design, lead, and
provide administrative support for a dynamic program of interfaith
leadership development, dialogue, theological education, peacemaker
training, and social action for teens (ages 15-18), college students,
graduate seminarians, and religious educators from the wider
interfaith community. The program includes a nine-day summer
institute/camp, retreats, service-learning, gatherings of interfaith
leaders, and ongoing mentoring program for teens. Hours: on average, 5
hours
a week, Sept-July, with more hours during retreats, leadership
conferences,
and the 9 day summer camp-institute. For more detailed IFYI job
