Part-time Church School Director at King\'s Chapel, corner of Beacon and
Charles Street, Beacon Hill.

King\'s Chapel is a historic Unitarian church (www.kings-chapel.org) in
the heart of Boston.
Every sunday we hold a kids/family service at the Chapel in the Parish
House, it\'s a wonderful complete service with the kids acting as
ushers, acolytes, and readers and hymns/organ music. The sermon is by
the head or assistant Minister and is geared toward kids complete
w/interactive questions and requesting kids and families prayers each
week. Following that is coffee hour and then Church School for an hour.
The curriculum is very easy to follow, w/detailed \'how to\' materials
for each week.
The Church School director would be there every Sunday, assuring that
the teachers were all set w/their materials and classrooms and that the
families were tended to if they had questions or concerns.
During the week, there would be administrative work for the Ch Sch Dir.
such as creating communication materials for the Church school,
coordinating events for the following week(s) and working w/the Church
School Committee.
Hours are extremely flexible but total hours every week would be about
18 hours.
The pay will depend on experience but starts at $17k. No benefits and
all employees are CORI checked.

Skills that we are looking for in an ideal world: some teaching
experience since may have to pinch hit if a Sun Sch teacher calls in
sick. Good with kids and families. And good computer skills. Person does
not need any religious training and we are open to anyone from any
Christian tradition.

recent retiree--and all people in between!
