Southeast Area:

New Bedford, Pilgrim United Church of Christ, Part - Time, Approx. 4
hours per week,
We are seeking an energetic and creative person of faith who is good at
planning, well organized and enjoys working with children to oversee and
coordinate our Church School program, including mentoring, supporting
volunteer teachers and music. Responsibilities include overseeing
church school, teacher recruitment, support and education, planning and
implementation of special events, Christmas, Rally Day and Harvest
Party. Qualified and enthusiastic candidates must posses the ability to
relate and connect well with youth, as well as collaboratively with
other staff. Candidates should be grounded in the Christian faith and
have a passion for assisting children in developing their relationship
with God. We observe a Safe Church Policy and CORI reviews are required
in order to insure the comfort and safety of every child. The position
would also require participation in Governing Board Meetings; held the
second Tuesday of each month, and working closely with the Education
Team Leader and the pastor. The position runs from August - June.
Salary negotiable.
