The Congregational Church of Topsfield, United Church of Christ in MA is seeking a growing and committed Christian, fueled by a passion for inspiring faith in children and youth. Qualified applicants should possess strong leadership, teaching and organization skills. This person will oversee the Sunday School and nursery, ages 0 to 18 years old as well as the 4th -6th Grade and Middle School youth groups. Responsibilities include recruiting and training teachers as well as planning and implementing special seasonal events. This is a vibrant church with a new Senior Pastor and active lay leadership with dynamic Children and Youth Ministries. We are seeking an energetic individual whose rapport with children and youth will inspire them and who partners with parents in developing the spiritual growth of their children. This is an interim position (lasting approx. 18 mos.) but the individual will be able to apply for the settled position once the congregation finalizes its staff!
