Field Coordinator for Climate Justice Campaign
Responsibilities:
- In coordination with the Assistant Director for Climate and Energy,
affirm and support religious and moral perspectives on climate change to
religious audiences, civic leaders, and other key leaders in the climate
change debate.
- In coordination with Assistant Director, develop, refine, and
implement state specific climate justice campaign strategy.
- In coordination with Assistant Director, develop and then oversee
execution of state initiative campaigns and guide other campaign
projects.
- In coordination with Assistant Director, organize outreach by senior
denominational and state leaders to select civic leaders.
- In coordination with Assistant Director, prepare trainings and
briefings for clergy and lay climate leaders.
- Recruit and engage people of faith, grassroots and ôgrass topsö
leaders, to vocalize the religious and moral perspectives on climate and
energy issues and to engage in the debate to curb the global warming
crisis and conserve energy.
