Job Title: Director of Children's Ministries
Job Descripton: LEXINGTON, Hancock United Church of Christ is searching
for a Director of Children's Ministries ('DCM'). Hancock, an open
and affirming church, is one of the largest (800 members) and most
active UCC churches in Massachusetts. Our youth programs include over

We are looking for an individual with strong organizational and
administrative skills, as well as a passion for working with families
and their children of all ages. Attendance at weekly staff meetings and
Sunday services are required, as well as attendance at two additional
Christian Ed Committee meetings per month. The DCM will report directly
to the Associate Minister.
Responsibilities will include developing and coordinating appropriate
curricula for elementary Sunday school (grades K-5), middle school
(grades 6-8) and Confirmation Class (grade 9). The DCM will include
supporting efforts to recruit parent teachers as well as providing
teacher training for those volunteers.

The position will be part time, 20 hours per week. Compensation will
be commensurate with experience, up to $30,000, benefits to be
