Youth Coordinator

Job Title: Youth Coordinator
Job Descripton: United Church in Walpole, an open and affirming
congregation of the United Church of Christ, is seeking a Youth
Coordinator to oversee a dynamic program of Christian fellowship for
youth, grades 5-12. Two youth groups, each with average attendance of
15 young people and a team of lay leaders, meet regularly to engage in
fellowship and fun, worship, and service.

Responsibilities of youth coordinator:
● Direct programming for high school youth, lead weekly Sunday
evening meetings and occasional special events.
● Facilitate communication with youth, parents, and congregation.
● Coordinate fundraising efforts to support annual mission trip
● Provide resources and support for middle school youth group
● Foster continuity with church programming including Christian
education, mission, and worship.

Required Qualifications:
 A love for/ experience working with pre teens/ teens
 An enthusiastic, cooperative spirit
 An attention to detail and organizational skills
 A college degree
 A desire to serve God through work with youth

Position is part-time: An average 12 hours/week during school year, 6
hours/week during summer months. Pay is competitive.
