Congregational Stewardship Services Administrator
Job Descripton: Staff Group: Congregational Services
Reports To: Congregational Stewardship Services Program Manager
Location: Boston, Massachusetts (onsite)
FLSA: Exempt
Grade: 8, Part-time (20 hours per week)

Basic Purpose: The administrator performs all basic administrative
duties for the Office of Congregational Stewardship Services.

Principal Responsibilities
1. Perform administrative duties, including typing, correspondence,
filing, answering phones, etc. for the Office of Congregational
Stewardship Services.
2. Establish and maintain positive relationships with internal (UUA
staff and stewardship consultants) and external (congregations)
constituents.
3. Create contracts for stewardship consultants' work with
congregations, verify accuracy with the Program Manager, and send copies
to the congregation and the appropriate consultant. Assure that signed
contracts are returned before the start of any consultation.
4. Process consultants' time sheets and travel and expense forms
in a timely manner.
5. Create and send invoices to congregations for consulting services
rendered.
6. Receive congregational payments and deposit to appropriate
accounts. As needed, contact congregations to ensure timely payment of
consulting services' invoices.
7. Compile Congregational Stewardship Services monthly financial
data and generate financial reports each month.
8. Provide monthly reclassification report to the Finance staff
group.
9. Compile annual financial data and create PowerPoint slide show.
10. Provide logistical support for the Program Manager, the
Director, and the Congregational Properties and Loan Commission,
including making room reservations, arranging food orders, and making
travel arrangements when requested.
11. Provide administrative support in preparation for General
Assembly, the annual consultants' retreat, and quarterly meetings of
the Congregational Properties and Loan Commission.
12. Performs additional duties as requested by supervisor or, in
his/her absence, by the Director of Congregational Stewardship Services,
the Director of Congregational Services, the Treasurer, the Executive
Vice President, or the President.

This is an exempt Grade 8 position (entry $17,771; midpoint $21,886).
The ideal candidate works independently and must have excellent
organizational skills and a customer service orientation, proficiency in
MS Windows and in the programs contained within the Microsoft Office
Suite (especially Excel), knowledge of general office procedures and
meeting planning.
