Job Title: Chaplain/Manager of Pastoral Care
Job Descripton: The Chaplain/Manager of Pastoral Care is a member of
the healthcare team who provides for the pastoral needs of patients,
families, and staff. S/he oversees and ensures the provision of a
complete program of pastoral care to patients, their loved ones, and, as
appropriate, to staff of all faith traditions. S/he assists patients to
understand more fully life's events as they relate to their spiritual
and emotional well-being. S/he provides crisis intervention and visits
with patients, families and staff to offer spiritual support and
counseling. S/he supervises and facilitates the work of clergy,
pastoral visitors and volunteers delivering pastoral care. S/he
oversees and ensures provision of education and training as appropriate
for the organization. S/he communicates and provides liaison with the
religious community and administers the Pastoral Care Department. S/he
participates in LGH's management team and reports to the Vice
President of Administ!

4 year/Bachelor's Degree required.
License/Certification required.
