Director of Religious Education
Job Descripton: First Parish Church in Dorchester is an urban Unitarian
Universalist church with a vision of developing as a strong
multi-racial, multi-cultural congregation. We seek a dynamic educator
to serve as Director of Religious Education. We are a 70+ member
congregation with a renewed focus on growth and outreach into our
community. We have a regular attendance of 12 or more children and are
looking to hire a religious educator to help us grow, shape, and define
our children's program.

We hope that you have a deep love of children and Unitarian
Universalism, have some skill and experience in education and/or child
development, and have an interest in your own growth and development as
well as that of the congregation you serve. We also hope you are
excited by the prospect of helping to build a multi-cultural church
community which reflects and strengthens the diversity of the broader
community around us.

This is a twelve hour per week position that would run from August
through June and include Sunday mornings. EOE.
