Job Descripton: The United Church of Christ Southbury, an 800+ member congregation is seeking a Part Time Youth Leader (20-25 hrs/week) to lead active and growing Jr. and Sr. Pilgrim Fellowship youth groups. In addition to leading weekly PF meetings on Sunday evenings (JPF 2/mo, SPF 2/mo), the Youth Leader will coordinate and lead annual Mission Trips, retreats etc, for each group; SPF: Annual 7-9 day out of state trip with 35-45 youth & 10-15 adults. JPF: Smaller weekend trip to Heifer International etc. Responsibilities also include ministering to youth and their families in time of need, maintaining an active presence at church and community youth events, and attending monthly Youth Ministry Committee meetings.

Successful candidate will exhibit a faith-based mission purpose and excel in connecting with youth across multiple age groups. Strong knowledge of Youth programming and related resources, and good organizational skills are also required.
