Interim Parish Life Minister

Niantic Community Church, an Open and Affirming/Reconciling faith community, affiliated with the United Methodist Church and the United Church of Christ, seeks an Interim Parish Life Minister.

Part-time: 25 hours/week with some evenings and weekends. This position will last at least six (6) months but no more than twelve (12) months as the church explores staffing needs and develops plans for the future. Salary will be appropriate for the duties required and the skills of the person employed. No benefits are provided. Applications from lay and/or ordained candidates are welcome.

Principal responsibilities: assist the Pastor in coordinating overall church ministry; support boards, committees, and task forces; coordinate member care (parish visitors, pastoral visits, new members); other duties according to church needs and candidate abilities.

Director of Christian Education

Trinity Parish, Newton Centre (Episcopal), seeks part-time (6-8 hours /
week, August - May) Director of Christian Education to assist the Rector
with the faith formation of our young people. Trinity Parish is a small
parish with about 8 regularly-attending young people, ages 3 - 11.

Qualifications:
Committed Christian, preferably from a liturgical tradition (e.g.,
Roman Catholic, Episcopal, Lutheran)

Education / experience in education

Training in Montessori method a plus

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Excellent organizational skills

Recruit and support Sunday School teachers and helpers

Recruit and supervise childcare providers

Lead one of TrinityÆs Sunday School sections

Ensure that all adult teachers have met church guidelines for child
protection

Maintain and adapt as needed TrinityÆs Sunday School environment

In consultation with the Rector, help select and then secure all
Christian education curriculums and resources

Help to create ministry projects that are age-appropriate

Coordinate announcements (e.g., in order of service, in newsletter) for
Sunday School

Cooperate with pageant coordinator for Christmas preparations

Develop and work within the annual education budget

Keep up to date material for the website and a brochure on Christian
education at Trinity Parish

Suggest and encourage faith formation practices for families at home

Written report to the parish on TrinityÆs Christian Education for the
parishÆs annual meeting.

Compensation: $125 / week.

implementation of the Hill Country Evangelical Free Children\'s Ministry
in Fredericksburg, Texas.

The childrenÆs ministry of HCEFree includes newborn children through
6th grade.
The ChildrenÆs Director will be directly accountable to the pastor over
administration
and to the elders of the church.

Temple Congregational church in Beautiful Temple NH is searching for a youth director/leader for our small but growing youth group. The kids love outings in the wilderness, Skating, the ocean, camping, bowling, basically anything you can come up with. We are an unusual church where money for activities is not a problem. We even have our own church bus! The position is for ten hours a week, three hours will be used on Sunday mornings leading the kids in worship. We would also like the kids to meet on another night to enjoy fellowship together. There are many options for housing on the weekends if there is long travel involved. Pastor, First Baptist Church of Lyme, NH

The First Baptist Church of Lyme, NH (PO Box 108 Lyme Center, NH 03769) is
searching for a pastor. We are a small traditional American Baptist church
in a scenic New England town on the New Hampshire/Vermont border. We
minister not only to members and friends but to the wider community. We are
looking for a leader to help us grow spiritually, to build the congregation
and to assist in our outreach ministry. At present we are using pulpit
supply and are looking for a full-time or part-time pastor, depending on
qualifications and experience. We would also consider an interim pastor.

Assistant Chaplain - Bates College. 30 hours per week for the Academic Year.
The Assistant Chaplain works with the Multifaith Chaplain to coordinate
multi faith programs and projects that advance religious pluralism. Offers
pastoral conversation and spiritual guidance to students, staff and faculty,
and assists with many other programs. Required qualification is formal
academic training in religious studies. Pastoral training and experience are
preferred. A demonstrated ability to work effectively in an environment that
