We invite you to learn about graduate theological education at Andover Newton this fall. On our peaceful hill, there is a challenge waiting. A challenge to learn and grow in partnership with a world-class faculty and a diverse student body. In our 206th year, we remain dedicated to maintaining academic excellence while teaching a "roll your sleeves up" approach to ministry in a world that needs strong, action-oriented leaders. We strive to educate leaders who are enlivened by rigorous study in a diverse community; devoted to the renewing of church and society; and committed to justice and love in the world.

Speak UP Against Domestic Violence

Community

6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Andover Newton and Safe Haven, an interfaith partnership against domestic violence, will co-sponsor “Speak Up,” a racially diverse interfaith question-and-answer panel discussion and candlelight vigil, on campus at Andover Newton on Thursday, Oct. 17. The discussion will look at how domestic violence affects communities of faith and the larger society as well as how religious communities can help prevent abuse.

The event starts at 6:30 p.m. in Noyes Hall and is expected to go until 9 p.m. Contributions to the Renewal House Shelter are welcome. Cash donations; new or like-new household items and new toiletries for babies, children, and adults; or gift cards to Target, Walgreens, or Stop & Shop are all suggested.
