Looking Back at Andover Newton across Two Centuries - Chapel Service, Recognition Reception, Book-signing, and Tour
In honor of Andover Newton Theological School’s bicentennial, author Margaret Lamberts Bendroth has written a compelling account of our historic institution, established as the nation’s oldest graduate school and the model for theological education the world over.
Join us as we celebrate this evolving and courageous community entering our Third Century and continuing to make history by reaching across borders and forging new pathways for living faithfully.
Visit historic Noyes Hall and have lunch with new students, old classmates, faculty, trustees and new friends, then…
Worship together in the new Wilson Chapel, honoring our historical roots while preparing with hope and determination to bring peace and reconciliation to communities across the globe.
Dr. Bendroth will sign copies of her book: A School of the Church and the Andover Newton Alumni/ae Board will offer refreshments during a Recognition Reception honoring distinguished faculty, trustees, alumni/ae, and guests.
After the reception, President Nick Carter will lead a guided tour of the new Wilson Chapel and the new, under-construction, ANTS-MBS Media Center.
