This program on community ministry will feature a dialogue between Andover Newton President Nick Carter and Bill Sinkford, former president of the Unitarian Universalist Association.
Community ministry takes place beyond the walls of churches and congregations. In some faith communities, community ministry is called public ministry, outreach ministry, ministry at large, the larger ministry, missionary work, social action ministry and more. Community ministry is all about “border crossing,” according to event organizer Rev. Maddie Sifantus.
Free and open to the public. A reception will follow. This event will also be webcast live (see below).
Sponsored by Andover Newton, the Unitarian Universalist Urban Ministry, the Unitarian Universalist Community of Andover Newton Theological School (UUCANS), and the Unitarian Universalist Society for Community Ministries.
This event will be webcast live. To view the live broadcast, please click the green square at the time of the event.
