Mindfulness Practice and Joyous Celebration: A Jewish-Buddhist Dialogue

On two Tuesdays in October, Newton Community Education will hold a series looking at the practice of mindfulness and meditation with various religious traditions, in Wilson Chapel. Andover Newton is a co-sponsor of the series.

The second session, “Mindfulness Practice and Joyous Celebration: A Jewish-Buddhist Dialogue,” features Rabbi Moshe Waldoks (Temple Beth Zion in Brookline) and Lama Surya Das, one of the foremost Western Buddhist scholars and teachers, author of international bestseller Awakening the Buddha Within: Tibetan Wisdom for the Western World.

Registration is $35 per session or $60 total if attending both. (The first session is Tuesday, Oct. 1.)
