The Media Center at Andover Newton Theological School is pleased to announce the schedule for the spring Media Workshops.

As part of the mission of the Media Center we teach practical hands on methods to use video and social media as a tool to assist Ministers, Rabbis, and nonprofit organizations.

May 22&29 Video Production
May 23 &30 Social Media
May 24 &31 Public/ News Relations

Our workshops have been hugely popular and effective

"Valuable hands on experience in editing and camera work"

"I learned the concept of Face Book as a place to meet your congregation in the same way that you would meet on the street"

"The Chance to be interviewed on camera and review the video was extremely helpful"

"Online ministries are clearly becoming a vital part of the work of the church. Hearing one minister’s story about making literally life-saving connections online, with congregants of all ages, really woke me up to the NEED for ministers to be in the places people gather—both in person AND online. Thank you for providing this chance to learn together and practice using these tools for effective 21st-century ministry."

The workshops being offered in the spring can be taken as single events but they can also be a stepping stone to an Endorsement in Multi Media Ministry for individuals or institutions, for more information on the Endorsement process please contact Bob Craigue at rcraigue@ants.edu

Our workshop leaders bring not only expertise but an understanding and insight to the needs of the religious and nonprofit community.
