Key Religious Terms in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam

imageIn this team-taught course, held on eight Wednesdays in October through December, you’ll experience several fundamental terms at the heart of these three great religious civilizations. Through this comparative approach, we will examine various commonalities and differences across the Abrahamic traditions.


  • Gregory Mobley, Professor of Christian Bible at Andover Newton Theological School, co-founder of the Center for Inter-Religious and Communal Leadership Education (CIRCLE)
  • Celene Ayat Lizzio, Islamic Scholar-in-Residence at Andover Newton and Hebrew College, co-director of CIRCLE
  • Rabbi Or Rose, director of the Center for Global Judaism at Hebrew College, co-founder and co-director of CIRCLE
