Andover Newton Fall Convocation 2015

Andover Newton will celebrate the start of a new academic year on Wednesday, Sept. 16, with Fall Convocation, marking the 208th year of our school. 

A community picnic on the quadrangle will begin at 11:45 a.m., and the year’s first worship service will be held at 1 p.m. in Wilson Chapel.

Baccalaureate

Category: 

A reception will follow on campus in Upper Noyes, and this event is free and open to the whole community.

Joint Community Day with Hebrew College

Category: 

Andover Newton Theological School and Hebrew College will participate in a joint Community Day on Monday, April 11, 2016, organized by CIRCLE. Events will include Christian and Jewish worship services, presentations highlighting the research of CIRCLE fellows, and an interfaith community lunch.

Graduation Brunch

Category: 

Please join us in Upper Noyes Hall for a hot breakfast the morning of graduation! This is a wonderful way to reflect on your years at Andover Newton with your fellow graduates and to introduce your loved ones to the campus, connect with professors and staff, and head into graduation re-energized.

Cost: $5 per person. Pre-register online.

Opening of Community on the Hill Art Show

This year’s Art Show celebrates the creativity of students, campus residents, faculty, staff, friends, relatives, and alums.

A reception will be held on April 29.

3rd annual BTI Choirfest

Category: 

The Boston Theological Institute's 3rd annual Choirfest will be held next Tuesday, April 21, here at Andover Newton. Choirs from BTI member schools participate in this concert, and Assistant Professor of Preaching and Worship (and Wilson Chapel director!) Adam Hearlson had this to say about Andover Newton:

"It is a really cool event and very fun. Andover Newton is known among these choirs as the rag tag bunch of singers who always bring energy and excitement. ... I had a ball singing last year."

Spring Commencement 2015

Category: 

Graduates gather at 1 p.m. at the church to robe and process.

Reception following on the quad.

Tickets are required — each grad receives four tickets, one for yourself and three for guests. Additional tickets may be purchased in the Business Office for $15 each. If you are not graduating but wish to attend, you also may purchase one or more tickets in the Business Office.
