Ph.D., Princeton Seminary
Rev. Dr. Christy Lang Hearlson, a Presbyterian minister, is a native of Washington State. Christy previously served as Associate Pastor for Christian Education and Discipleship at The Brick Presbyterian Church in New York City, and she also worked as academic advisor to Dual-Degree Masters' students at Princeton Seminary, from which she received her PhD in Practical Theology.
Christy recently edited a volume with Kenda Creasy Dean, entitled How Youth Ministry Can Change Theological Education--If We Let It (Eerdmans, 2016). Christy cares passionately about excellent teaching, holistic learning, and community building. She also loves spending time with Adam and Elliot Hearlson, eating Thai food, riding ferry boats, preaching, gardening, and wearing red shoes.
