Biography:

A Methodist pastor, Julianne Hallman helped Andover Newton’s field education program to establish the “teaching parish” model that provides students with careful supervision in learning skills for ministry in parish settings and as an adjunct taught courses for new and experienced field education supervisors.

The first fully ordained woman in the Southern New England United Methodist Conference, Hallman was also the first woman to serve on the board that approves candidates for ministry in her conference.
