Biography:

Paul Baxter is Associate Director of The City Mission Society of Boston, the oldest multi-service agency in New England (since 1816), meeting the educational, economic and social needs of impoverished area residents. Their mission is to help youths and adults reach their full potential while providing opportunities for congregations and communities to engage in social action and work for change.
Dr. Baxter runs Seminarians in the City, a training program in urban ministry that seeks to engage the faith community in promoting social justice in the city of Boston and beyond. Seminarians in the City equips local seminarians to respond to the call of the Gospel in the city and beyond through active engagement in urban ministry, critical evaluation of contemporary urban issues, and the intentional pursuit of the integration of faith and social justice.
