Paul Sangree
Adjunct Professor of Theology
Biography:
Rev. Paul Sangree is a graduate of Brown University (1981) and Andover Newton Theological School (1986). He was ordained by the United Church of Christ in 1986. He has served as the Associate Pastor of Dane Street Congregational Church in Beverly, Massachusetts, from 1986 to 1989, as Pastor of Middleton Congregational Church in Middleton, Massachusetts, from 1989 to 2000, and as Pastor of Bethany Congregational Church in Foxboro, Massachusetts, from 2000 to the present.
Rev. Sangree has been on the Adjunct Faculty at Andover Newton since 1997. He teaches the course “The Theology and Meaning of Call,” and has written several articles about call. He also has led several workshops at Andover Newton on the subject of call for the Conference on the Ministry and the Faith Youth Institute. He is married to Irene Bagdoian, a lawyer, and they have one daughter, Anna.
