Rev. Dr. Paul Shupe

Biography:

Paul Shupe is Senior Minister at Hancock United Church of Christ in Lexington, MA.  Now in his third year there, he has previously served UCC congregations in Falmouth, Maine, and Madison, Wisconsin.  He earned his MDiv at Vanderbilt Divinity School, and his DMin at Columbia Theological Seminary.  Paul has a passion for teaching, as well as for mentoring ministers in the making, believing firmly that local church vitality depends in part upon knowledgeable, informed and committed clergy.  He believes that the next generation of clergy face perhaps the most challenging period in the history of Christianity in the United States.  Paul and his wife MaryAnn are the proud parents of two grown sons.
