A leading voice in LGBT Christianity will visit Andover Newton on Thursday, Nov. 6. The Rev. Cody J. Sanders will discuss his book Queer Lessons for Churches on the Straight and Narrow: What All Christians Can Learn from LGBTQ Lives.
The event is free, but registration is required.
On Monday, Oct. 20, Andover Newton alumna The Rev. Dr. Jade Angelica, Director of Healing Moments Alzheimer’s Ministry, will lead a workshop based on her book Where Two Worlds Touch: A Spiritual Journey Through Alzheimer’s Disease.
There is no cost to attend, but pre-registration is required.
As the Ebola crisis continues to grow more serious, Andover Newton is working with a Rhode Island alumna and the Liberian community of Providence to collect essential items for relief workers through Oct. 20, with drop-off sites on campus and in Providence.
