Noyes Hall Cafeteria

Andover Newton's cafeteria, located in the lower level of Noyes Hall is open during term time for breakfast, lunch, and dinner Tuesday through Thursday, for lunch and dinner on Monday, and for lunch on Friday. It is closed on Friday evenings, on weekends, and during academic breaks and vacations.

The cafeteria is open to faculty, staff, students, and visitors to the Andover Newton campus. Visitors and others not on a relevant meal plan may pay by the meal or a la carte item, as available. A small private dining room is also available for meetings and special events.

Andover Newton Theological School  Meal Plan - Frequently Asked Questions:

How do I purchase food?
A meal plan is part of your room and board. The money will automatically be placed on an Andover Newton Meal Card ID card which will swipe at the register like a debit card.

Do I have enough Dining Points to eat all semester? What do I do if my Dining Points run low?
The largest meal plan has been designed to allow you to eat meals based on an average dining pattern, with funds for snacks and miscellaneous purchases. You are responsible for your own spending. Each time you make a purchase your balance will be displayed at the register. If your Dining Points run low, you may add additional Dining Points at any time by visiting the Dining Services Office with cash, credit card, or check. Your dining points will be available to you by the Same day

What happens to unused Dining Points at the end of the semester?
Meal plan dining points will carry over from the fall to spring semester; however, at the end of the spring semester any unused points are non-refundable. Budget your points during the spring semester so you do not have "extras" at the end of the school year. We will hold various special events throughout the school year to help you spend some of the excess points.

What if I lose my school ID?
Should you lose your meal Card report it immediately to the Dining Services Office or call (617)831-2438. We can deactivate your old card until you acquire a new ID. Then we can reactivate your meal plan.

Why would I sign up for a meal plan if I have a kitchen facility in my apartment?
The meal plan is a very specific way that the school facilitates a community feeling on the campus. Year after year students tell us that the best way to feel a part of this community, and to engage in rich conversations spurred by the classrooms, is to share a meal together.
