Andover Newton at Boston Pride 2008!

Andover Newton was well represented at the recent Pride march in Boston. GLBT folks and allies (see photo) had a great time during the parade and the festival. It was a wonderful community-building opportunity.

The day began with a Pride Interfaith Worship Service at Old South Church, United Church of Christ (where Rev. Nancy Taylor, an Andover Newton Trustee, is the senior minister). It was a beautiful service in a breath-takingly beautiful sanctuary.

Marchers had a great time, and there was a HUGE crowd.  Throughout the parade route people cheered when they saw our banners!  This is an annual event for the campus.
