As part of a reorganization of the Institutional Advancement team at Andover Newton, President Nick Carter has announced that Ruth Edens, a 2010 Andover Newton graduate (Master of Divinity), has been appointed Director of the Annual Fund to help lead the school’s on-going efforts in developing annual unrestricted support.
Most recently, Ms. Edens was a development and marketing assistant at Newton Community Service Center, West Newton, MA, and worked as a special assistant to the vice president of Institutional Advancement at Andover Newton. As a student, Edens was co-president of the Andover Newton Student Association.
President Carter welcomed Edens to the newly-created position, saying “I’m excited about the potential Ruth has for helping the school re-energize its Annual Fund. As a recent alumna, she has an important perspective to share and her enthusiasm for Andover Newton is contagious. I know our alums will be delighted with Ruth’s appointment.”
