Library Services for Andover Newton Alumni/ae

Alumni/ae of Andover Newton Theological School may borrow up to 10 books at a time at no cost to them. Andover Newton alumni/ae will have borrowing privileges at other theological libraries in the Boston area after the school moves from its Newton campus.

Trask Library has purchased a subscription to ATLAS for ANTS Alumni/ae.  ATLAS is a full-text collection of 320 major religion and theology journals used by religious leaders.  Bible, pastoral ministry, ethics and ecumenism are among topics covered by this online database of journal articles.  Access ATLAS through the Alumni/ae portal after you have registered at no cost with the NetCommunity of ANTS Alumni/ae. Questions about registering should be directed to Margaret Carroll, 617-831-2428.

Alumni/ae who live in Massachusetts, own property in Massachusetts, attend school in Massachusetts, or work in Massachusetts are eligible to get a Boston Public Library eCard. The eCard provides access to thousands of ebooks, audio books and electronic journal articles. Massachusetts residents also have access to Gale Infotrac databases, encyclopedias and newspapers through the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners.

The library does not provide InterLibrary Loan service to Alumni/ae.  They are encouraged to request this service at their local public library.
