Encyclopedia of the Books of the Bible: A single source for authoritative reference overviews of scholarship on some of the most important topics in the field of biblical studies. The Encyclopedia contains almost 120 in-depth entries, ranging in length from 500 to 10,000 words, on each of the canonical books of the Bible, major apocryphal books of the New and Old Testaments, important non-canonical texts, and thematic essays on topics such as canonicity, textual criticism, and translation. “Books of the Bible” has extensive cross-references to other useful points of interest within the Encyclopedia, and comprehensive lists of abbreviations. Illustrations of various types supplement the text. Bibliographies for all entries add to its usefulness.  

Oxford Encyclopedia of Biblical Interpretation: Detailed, comprehensive treatments of the latest approaches to,and methods for, interpretation of the Bible. The Encyclopedia contains entries ranging in length from 3,000 to 5,000 words. Oxford Companion to the Bible: The Oxford Companion to the Bible provides an authoritative one-volume reference to the people, places, events, books, institutions, religious belief, and secular influence of the Bible.

Oxford Guide to People and Places of the Bible: 325 articles that describe the people and places that appear in the New Testament and Old Testament of the Bible. From prophets, apostles, and groups (such as Hebrews and Angels) to kingdoms and countries, cities and mountains where Biblical events took place.


The Oxford Dictionary of the Christian Church: With more than 480 contributors, an authoritative dictionary of the Christian church, its doctrines and practices, and its most influential historical figures.

Oxford Encyclopaedia of South Asian Christianity: Covers for the 2000-year old story of Christianity in India and its neighbouring countries. Looking at Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Nepal, Bhutan, and Maldives, alongside India, as well as Myanmar, Afghanistan, and the global South Asian diaspora, the Encyclopaedia celebrates the trans-cultural, migratory, and unique nature of South Asian Christianity.
