Boston Globe Reports on Future of Farwell Hall

Farwell Hall on the longtime Andover Newton campus will undergo renovations and expansion to become a memory care facility for seniors living with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of memory loss, the Boston Globe has reported.

Benchmark Senior Living's use of the existing facility for office space and a wellness center, and its construction of a 35,000 square foot building to house approximately 50 assisted living residents, is separate from investor and developer Gerald Chan's overall vision of continuing to use the Newton Centre campus for educational purposes, the Globe noted.
