Student Injury and Sickness Insurance Plan
All Registered Students taking 9 or more credit hours are automatically enrolled in the School Plan unless they waive participation. Massachusetts state law requires that all students registered for 9 or more credits who do not wish to participate in the student health insurance plan must provide proof of alternative insurance. This year, students will provide this information on line to the school’s new health insurance plan administrator. Details on the three available plans (including how to choose your plan and enroll in it, and how to waive participation) will be sent to all students by email.

The premiums for the 2011-12 policy (Sept 1 to Aug 31) are:
Cost Share Plan (for individuals only; family members may not participate)
- Student: $2,484
- Spouse: $3,007
- Each Child: $1,625
Enhanced Plan (with higher benefits)
- Student: $3,419
- Spouse: $3,855
- Each Child: $2,381
